Multi Tier Mezzanine Floor Construction

Multi tier mezzanine floors have four major structural components; columns, beams, joists and decking:

Columns are typically upright posts made of boxed section steel,
Beams the ‘I’ section steel members that run across the top of the columns sitting on the cap plates,
Joists run at right angles to the beams and support the decking surface of the floor, and
Decking forms the floor surface and is made\ of either chipboard, open steel grid or solid steel.

Joists and decking can be customised to suit your needs.
